Urbanization has increasingly removed access to nature for many people.  State parks and other municipal lands, however, give it back, and  have become increasingly popular places for RV camping.

RV campers typically shop or dine locally when visiting these parks.  Consequently, their spending provides an economic boost to state and local communities.  In addition, the activity in these parks often attracts new businesses to the area.  Some focus on RV campers and choose locations near parks that attract their customers.  In short, RV camping in these places helps creates jobs, and that is an economic boost to state and local communities.

State parks exist in all 50 states and administer over 10,000 different areas which include state parks, state recreational areas, reserves, beaches and historic sites in the United States.  Additionally, many county and municipal parks provide for excellent RV camping OUTventures.  Larger RV’s:  Call the park to discuss size or overhead clearance issues when considering state or other municipal sites for RV camping.  Options in these locations may be limited.
