Backpacking is awesome. It gives us the chance to go off-grid, immerse ourselves in nature, and get away from the world for a night or a week or months. Backpacking is also a technical outventure. We must carry the equipment, food, and water we need for the trip on our backs. We also must know the terrain and comply with the rules for the area we are backpacking. Not so always easy, but totally doable.
