Kids present an extra challenge when outventuring. They are not as strong as us and do not have the life experience we have. We cannot tell you how many times we told our son: “There are no taxis out here, so you can’t just quit.” The point of outventuring with kids is to create family fun and build stronger bonds between parent/grandparent and child. Knowing how and where to find appropriate areas to outventure with kids will ensure fun for all and will help resist the desire to call a taxi.
